Workspace general settings
Review workspace identity and members, manage invitations, and understand leave and deletion actions.
Choose the workspace
Open Settings, use the workspace selector, and choose General. The route-selected workspace owns the members and lifecycle actions shown on this page. Switching the selector keeps you in General but loads the selected workspace's data.
Members, roles, and invitation states
The member table lists each person's name, email, role, status, and available actions. Active members can use the workspace according to their permissions; pending entries represent invitations not yet accepted; inactive members do not have active access.
- Admins manage workspace settings, members, and other privileged actions shown to them.
- PM and Translator access depends on their membership and the capabilities granted for the work they open.
Invite and manage members
- Select Invite, enter the person's email and role, and send the invitation.
- For a pending invitation, use the available action to resend or revoke it.
- For an active member, change the role or remove access only after checking the impact on ongoing work.
Only controls authorized for your current membership are displayed. A hidden or disabled control does not transfer authority; the workspace still verifies each change when submitted.
Rename, leave, and delete
- Rename changes the workspace display name. It does not move projects or change member roles.
- Leave removes your membership from an organization workspace. Confirm that another person can cover any work or administration you own.
- Delete permanently removes the organization's projects and member access. The dialog shows project, active-work, credit, refund, and confirmation conditions that must be resolved or acknowledged.
Protection and related settings
An organization workspace's protection mode is chosen when it is created and cannot be changed later. General settings manage identity and membership; use Security for access policy and recovery, Billing for credits and usage, and Audit for recorded organization activity.
- Active member
- Has accepted membership and can open workspace content allowed by the assigned role.
- Pending invitation
- The invitation was sent but has not been accepted. Admins can resend or revoke it; revocation prevents that invitation from being used.
- Inactive member
- Does not currently have active workspace access. Historical work may still show the person's name.
Invite a member
- Choose Invite in the Members area.
- Enter the email address, select the role, and send the invitation.
- Confirm that a pending row appears. After acceptance, refresh and confirm that the status is Active.
After completion: The invitation is listed immediately; workspace access begins only after the recipient accepts it.
Problem
Invite or role controls are missing.
What to do
Confirm that an organization workspace, not a personal workspace, is selected and that your membership has workspace-administration permission. Ask an active workspace admin to make the change.
Problem
An invitation remains pending.
What to do
Verify the email, resend the invitation, and ask the recipient to use the latest invitation while signed in to the intended account. Revoke an obsolete or incorrectly addressed invitation.
Problem
Leave or delete is blocked.
What to do
Read the confirmation dialog for last-admin, ownership, and active-work conditions. Transfer responsibility or finish blocking work first. Workspace deletion affects the entire workspace and is not the same as removing one member.
